About
I understand it takes a tremendous amount of courage to enter therapy. My intention is to offer a supportive, compassionate, evidence-based model of treatment particular to the goals of the client.
My training includes the two most successful evidenced-based models of therapy that deal with PTSD: EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behaviorial Therapy).
I also earned certification in Substance Abuse Counseling. Oftentimes, addiction develops as emotions can become overwhelming and individuals need help learning alternative ways to cope with life's stressors.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions on how therapy might benefit you, or your family.
